Life is sweet

I can't believe that yesterday i couldnt see 2 feet in front of me on account of the snow and today i got to grill while drinking a beer in the backyard. Life is good.

I love you weekend

Hooray! Snow is melting and the sun is shining! i think its gonna be a good day. Kath is on her way home and we're gonna watch some movies and maybe take a trip to the new video store. Yup I am addicted! I got a pretty good nights sleep and I'm ready to face the day. I'm gonna try not to think about the shift bid until i get to work on Monday to see whats being offered. I'm in a good mood so hopefully can hang on to that mood for the weekend. I get to spend it with my family so what more do i need right? I have a kick ass show planned for tomorrow and all my work is completed for it. I think I'm going to celebrate by grilling burgers and chicken today. Hot diggity!

Over tired Jay

As i go to bed to rest my weary eyes i just want to reflect on one thing, I spoke to a guy naked Harry Johnson today. Get it? I couldn't help but giggle like a 10 year old girl all through the call. Thank God for my mute button. Yeah I'm over tired. Tomorrows gonna be another day. Goof night kids.

Geeky Sunday

I just accepted a job this Sunday. Rob and i were asked to go to a toy show in Toronto to hand out flyers for the upcoming Niagara Falls Comic con. Paul from Pulp comics asked us to go. We accepted and it should be cool. I've always wanted to check out that toy show anyhow and it'll be good publicity for the con. Should be done by 4 so should have time to get home for the show. I have a couple of bucks in case i see something thats cool and cheap.

Huh?

Where in the hell did this gross, slushy,cold snow come from? I realize its still March but it was hot out last week. The snow was blowing so hard tonight i couldnt see in front of my face. It was effed up, Seriously man what the h? Just glad its the weekend. Dear God please warm everything up tomorrow.

cheap dvds--Jay has died and gone to heaven.

I forgot to mention that about 3 weeks ago a new store opened near us called entertainment deals and they sell only dvd's and books for dirt cheap. All the dvd's are brand new n the package and sell for a mere 5 dollars a pop. I've gone back there the last 3 weekends and picked up a bunch of stuff. I finally own Spied Like us and Nightshift--2 comedies i have enjoyed since i was younger. They have an awesome selection and they are getting new stuff every week. The only thing that sucks? They only signed a 2 month lease. I hope they get a longer lease. I love getting dvds and i especially love buying them when they are cheap.

Another shitty day at the day job

So was sitting at work minding my own business when i suddenly read a message that came in from the higher ups. Apparently its not very busy and they've hired too many representatives in my department. The answer to this? A shift bid next week. I just went back there a month and a half and was given the best shift i ever had and now it might be done. This really sucks because i didn't want to come back to that department in the first damn place. I'm gonna try to be calm for the weekend until i know more. I'm hoping i don't lose my weekends off. If i do then i have a shitload of Saturdays to book off between now and the summer.
