See ya May

 Last day of May. Turns out that May was alright. We had some issues with the van but other than that no major complaints. Last night after work we drove out to Tuckers marketplace buffet in Burlington to celebrate Kaths birthday. Its the last day of my work week so very excited about that. Yesterday the customers were very angry and i  just became so exhausted to the point of taking a break to put cold water in my face. Hope today is better. Also decided I'd better diet again. I've gained back half the weight i lost in January. Gonna start walking again and drinking more water. Can't wait for June. We have the niagara falls comic con. Well I'm rambling. See ya in June.

F U day after memorial day

 The day after memorial day  sucked huge. It was busy the entire day and everyone was so angry. I don't want to throw the term bitch around to lightly but there were a lot of huge bitches that called in. It was horrible. They sucked the life right out of me. I was exhausted by the second hour. I did receive some good news though. Mellisa, my former manager from the cell phone company got moved over to cable tv and she's my new manager. She was always cool and fair to me so looking forward to her being my boss again.

Happy birthday to my best friend in the whole wide world, the mother of my child and the coolest person i know. Thanks for making me the happiest guy  for the last 13 years. Sorry you are stuck at work on your birthday. Rock on Kath.

Memorial day

 Man i do not get my work some times. Ha ha that's an understatement. So i work for an american company and yesterday was Memorial day. Since it was a holiday they only wanted about 30 of us to work the whole day as opposed to the over 100 people that would have normally been working. So a request was sent for 30 volunteers. Of course no one was going to volunteer. So works solution? Schedule everyone as planned. It was really dead--we were going half an hour between calls which i was loving. Because it was so dead people had to be sent home which is what they wanted in the first place. I got to go home early and  even pick up Diana from school. It was a win-win situation for me. Unfortunately the day after a holiday  usually sucks. Not really looking forward to todays shift. Will i have a nervous breakdown today? Time will tell

Another awesome Geeky weekend

  Well the weekend is done and it was great. Saturdays are my new vavorite dat of the week, Its the only day i get to spend with Kath and Diana. Saturday afternoon we met up with Rob and Nickle in Welland at a star wars themed con called fun expo. Lots of star wars stuff for sale. Made ne wanna punch the younger version of myself for breaking a lot of my old toys. That stuff is worth a pretty penny now. Our artist friend John Bulmer was there as well. He's been really pimping Get Your Geek On. He was handing out our business cards and he has a huge banner with his art on it that mentions gygo as well. Man we really appreciate the publicity.   Like most cons i managed to find 1 vendor with tons of cool cheap stuff. I bought some old  Spider man Macdonalds toys from the 90's and found some comics for 50 cents a piece. I think i spent a total of 7 bucks.  It was pretty sweet.

  We also got confirmation that we got a press pass for the Niagara falls comic con.Diana gets in free so we only had to but one ticket. We're going to see if there's anyone we can interview. Burt ward from batman and Robert Picardo from Stargate are both going to be there. Our friend John Merry is coming. It's his first ever comic book convention. Its gonna be in 2 weeks. Can't wait.

We wrapped up Saturday night with our first trip to the drive in of 2012. Took Diana to see Men In Black 3 and the animated Pirates band of misfits. Great night. Mib 3 was awesome. Had a twist ending that was sad though. You aren't supposed to cry during a Men In Black film. Anyhow all great things come to an end and we were already planning our next weekend

Weekend!

  Thank God its Friday! The first day of my weekend. Its a hot one out there. Just getting ready to go pick up the kid and get ice cream at macdonalds.Taking it easy with the fam tonight. Gonna watch the first 2 men in black movies. Going to the drive in in tomorrow to see men in black 3. I can't believe its been a decade since the last film. Most importantly i am not at work today. I came home early yesterday. Its such a happy feeling and a relief when i walk out that door. Good times indeed. I've been working on the next 3 episodes of get your geek on. Can't wait to record them. Well I'm off to get Diana.  Talk to you later.

Are you new?

  Ok so the day ended great. The beginning of the day sucked as do most days at work. If you've been to this blog before then you know that's not new. There was a lot of bitching and complaining. It wasn't all that busy but i was on some long ass calls. One lady asked me like 10 questions in a row. One question right after another, Before i could open my mouth to try and answer at least one of them--she asked me if i was new? Apparently the 5 seconds she gave me to answer all the questions wasn't enough time. I've been asked if i was new before and it just rubs me the wrong way.  Anyhow at 3;30 as i was going to lunch they started sending people home because it wasn't busy. I got asked and thought hmmm i really want to leave this hell hole but don't want to miss 3 hours of pay. I texted Kath and she convinced me to come home. Bless her heart. I couldn't take much more. Thank God for having such an understanding wife
