Crushing on Erin Gray

I'm in an awesome mood. Just heard from Rob. He contacted some people who are running the wizard toronto comic convention. We may be getting press passes for the event Which would mean we can get in for free! Rob is definately a golden God! We're also trying to schedule some interviews. Hopefully we'll get to talk to Gil gerrard and erin gray from Buck Rogers. Maybe i will tell Erin Gray i had a crush on her when i was younger. She was one of my first tv crushes. Well her and Daisy Duke. Anyhow very excited and March 27th cant get here fast enough!

Happy anniversary!

Nine years ago Kath made me the happiest man alive when she took my hand in marriage. I just wanted to tell her happy anniversary and i love her very much. Thanks for putting up with a nerd like me all these years and i hop we have many more together!

And then?

Ah the end of another glorious day at work. There were 2 calls of note to mention today. The first had 2 of my favorite quotes of the day.

So this dude calls in about his room mates account. There is an fcc regulation that if your name isn't listed somewhere on the account then we can't access the account until the main account holder adds them as an authorized user. Needless to say his name wasn't on her account. The account holders name was desiree something. I can't remember her last name. That's ok neither could her suppossed friend who was calling in. He kept asking a million specific questions that couldn't be answered because he wasn't an authorized user. It got boring saying "i appologized you're not an authorized user i can't release that information" over and over again. Finally after i couldn't say much more he said my favorite quote of the day:

"you're such an asshole. People like you shouldn't be allowed to have a job."

He then mentioned that he would come down to an office in person to access the account. I tried to tell him that even coming here in person his name would need to be on the account. To which he said my 2nd favorite quote:

"it won't matter you won't know it's me!"

um unless you're Desiree you won't be getting into the account dude. What was he gonna do --put on a dress and say he was her? Didn't get a chance to ask cause he hung up.

Does anybody remember the scene in Dude Where's my car when Kelso and Stiffler drove up to the drive thru and ordered chinese food? They ordered and after everything they said the asian lady would ask "and then?" Yup apparently i spoke with the same lady today. She was a korean lady and she was really pissed off that the telephone line to a korean representative was busy. Too many calls coming in and not enough people answering the phones. I swear i would say something like "i apologize you'll have to wait until its not busy."

swear to God the reply was

"and then?"

After about the 10th time of her saying that i really wanted to shout back

"no and then!"

She got really mad that i couldn't tell her how long a wait it would be to get someone and wanted to take down all my personal information. Apparently it was my fault the korean line was busy. What a kidder i am. I had to get her a supervisor because the korean line was busy and couldn't tell her when it wouldn't be busy. It was awesome. My manager laughed.

Ok gonna go grab a sandwich or something and do some more research for Sunday's show. Talk to you later kids.

catching up with the jay meister

The weekend was pretty cool. We got to talk to Rach for a little bit after work on Saturday. Then we went to Licks for dinner. We hadn't been there in a year and there hamburgers frigging rule! The fries ain't too shabby either. I finally got started on getting a passport. I had passport pictures taken. Terrorist beard and all. Can't wait to get back to the states someday. Diana got invited to a birthday party at Macdonalds and had a great time. I'm really happy she's making so many friends at school Definately doesnt take after her old man.

Watched both toy stories with Diana. She loved them. She was so good during them She didnt talk and all i heard out of her was laughing during the funny parts. So i think she is ready for her first movie at a theatre. This summer toy story 3 is coming out and i can't wait to take her. I think i was her age when i saw my first movie. It was The Disney Robin hood movie.

The show went great on Sunday night. Still having a lot of fun. Its fun working with Kath and Rob.

Went back to work today. I was actually in a good mood for the first 3 hours. Customers were all nice. After lunch is when all the assholes called in but i never really got into a bad angry mood. So that is a good thing. Its nice to be happy at work.

Well gonna go watch a few episodes of the simon pegg show Spaced. Gonna review it on next weeks show. So hope everyone has a great night.

Friday fun

Wow I'm feeling rough. Sore throat runny nose and dizzyness! A whoo hoo! Yay for me. I hope i feel better before tomorrow.

Had a good day off with Diana. We watched a couple episodes of Brave and the Bold. Diana started laughing hysterically because Batman went to another planet and got super powers. It was pretty funny. I burnt a bag of popcorn. That wasnt funny. Wow just realized i started this blog on Friday and never finnished it. I blame it on feeling sick. Maybe i was just lazy. Who knows. I imagine Friday was awesome because i wasnt at work. That seams plausible. I'm gonna move on. Next!

Thursday shenanigans

Man am i ever happy to have a day off. Yesterday was just plain horrible. I had so many people pissed off yesterday over the stupidest crap. After awhile my "pissed off" voice was making its way into every conversation i had. It was bad. I can't think of a specific example of something that made me mad. It all just blended together after awhile. Thank God i have my family here keeping me sane and cheering me up. Thanks Kath for putting up with my work stories and grumpiness. I guess i wouldnt have any material for the blog if it wasnt horrible.

Yesterday is nice and quiet. Just washing dishes and doing laundry and writing stuff down for the show. Gonna be our big academy awards show. I watched Toy Story with the kid today. Well i saw about 15 minutes ofit because i crashed hard. Diana loved it. Now we gotta ty and get her toy story 2. I have a feeling that Toy story will be her first movie in a theatre. I think i was her age when i saw my first movie in a theater. The Disney Robin Hood--you know the one where robin hood was a fox. Good times.

Well gonna finnish chores and get Diana some dinner. Have a great day everyone

March--ugh!

Welcome March! Why do u suck already? Man work has been brutal the last 2 days. No time to rest between calls. Non stop hollering. Yeah i know you've heard it all before and i do sound like a broken record.i got a Headache within the first 10 minutes of shift today. Unbelievable.

In actual good news i finally applied for my passport. I'll be annoying Nickle and Kath at Wegmans in no time!

Also making me happy just found out Kath switched her shift on Sunday so i get to do a live version of Get your geek on and i no longer have to wake up early to record Sunday morning.
