Sunday

Its Sunday evening. I get to head back to work in the morning. My manager went on 'aternity leave so tomorrow will be my first day with the new manager. I hope it does not suck.

The weekend ended pretty good. I had a nice quiet Sunday at home with Diana. We watched a few super hero cartoons and she helped me tidy up. Did the show from our basement again and i guess it sounded really good so pretty happy about that. Had dinner at cheers after the show. Some lovely wings and fries.

Man i'm kind of dreading work tomorrow. I should get some sleep to prepare myself. So i'll talk to you all later. Jstew out.

Another shitty saturday

wow blogging live from work today for the first time. I 'm on my 2nd lunch. I hate these stupid extended hours with the stupid 2nd lunch. I want this day to be over. Diana was up most of the night crying. She has a cold and unfortunately she hasnt learned how to blow her nose yet. I am so tired.

I actually can't wait to be moved over to cell phones now. I am getting annoyed by everything here now. The customers are really getting on my nerves today. I'm gonna be blunt, i hate them a lot!

Had a pretty cool night last night. We went to the states and got groceries. Starting today Kath is in the same boat i was in last year. Her passport expires. We will see what we can do about renewing it.

Did i mention i wanna come home? Can't wait. Gonna watch tv with Kath and have popcorn. I'm gonna go back to work now. Wish me luck.

Yet more Get Your Geek On News

So we got some awesome news from Rob the other night. As you may or may not know we have been doing our get your geek on show from our house instead of the regular studio. It's been awesome doing it here. The only problem is that it does sound a bit tinny. Anyhow Rob mentioned that Matt had an extra mixing board that he could donate to our underground train rek radio station that should improve the sound. I can't wait to try it out especially since we have have some guests coming on in the next few weeks. Can't wait. It's fun doing the show from here. Wizard world is coming up in about 40 days. Looking forward to it.

On a Date With My Wife

Had an excellent Tuesday off of work. I actually booked the day off of work to go to a movie with Kathy. We never get days off together anymore so it was nice. We went to see The Green Hornet. I liked it a lot. The only complaint i had was it was in 3d and i didnt really think it was necessary. Other than that what an awesome flick. Seth Rogen was funny in it. It was action packed. Highly recommended by the Stewarts. Had a great time and didn't miss work at all. Rob and Nickle came over and we watched some tv shows that night.Great day. Maybe i will book more tuesdays off.

My wife; the voice of reason

So got some interesting news the other day about my future at the day job. Apparently all tenured reps who make over 13 dollar an hour are being let go by the cable company. This would include me and all my friends. The good news is i wouldn't be fired i would be moving over to another client that works with cell phones. When i first got the news i was extremely pissed off. Kath was the voice of reason here. She thought maybe this was a good idea. I'm mad all the time now so maybe a change is good after 9 years. I have to agree. I would be off of the phones for 4 weeks so that's a good thing. The only thing that may suck is the schedule i would get after i move. Kath says we will worry about that when the time comes. So time will tell i guess. I'll keep you posted.

Safe family

I just want to thank God for getting Kath and Diana safely home tonight. While driving on the skyway tonight a tire popped on the van. Kath quickly called 911 and CAA. With the help of an awesome policeman Kath was kept safe until a tow truck could get there. All this happened when i was stuck at work. I don't know what i would have done if God forbid they didn't make it safely home. I may have jumped off a bridge or something. I'm glad i don't have to find out.

a cool but cold day

Despite it being Hoth cold outside its actually been a really good day. Sure i can't feel my feet or hands right now but our van is working again! It didn't cost thousands of dollars so right there is cause for celebration. We were able to go get some groceries and a few comics as well. It was really cool hanging out with Kath this morning and it sucked when she had to go to work. I just back from picking up Diana and it is freezing outside. Just heating up some split pea soup for us. I just found out last night that i like split pea soup. Diana thought i should try it and I'm glad i did. Diana wants to use the computer so i'm going to go for now. See ya!
