Vacation day 3; Ohio bound

It was Wednesday morning. We had finally packed up the car and we were headed off to Ohio. It was to be at least a 4 and a half hour journey. We were worried that Diana would be bored the whole way there. To our surprise not once did she say she was bored. It was cool. Rachel had lent us her portable dvd player so Diana could watch some movies. It was a really nice drive. It took about 2 hours to get to Erie Pa. We stopped there because there is an awesome all you can eat buffet there called the golden Coral. We had discovered that restaurant 6 years earlier when we went to Cleveland to see Springsteen. Man did we pig out. They had everything from pizza to mini burgers and tacos and a salad bar and a sundae bar. It was pretty awesome. After lunch we drove non stop until we got to Ulana's house. We arrived around 4:30.

We hung out for a bit with Ulana and her husband Rusty and their 2 sons Daniel and Jacob. They also had a really nice dog named Aspen. She was such a friendly dog that even Diana liked. After we sat and talked for awhile Ulana took us to a cool comic book store called heroic adventures that was about a half mile from her house. The store was great and the owner gave us a tour of the store. I picked up some books and we left him some get your geek on business cards.

Went back to Ulanas and had an amazing steak dinner. We sat up and talked until about 11:00. I got to hear lots of stories about Kath and Ulana in high school. By 11 we were all pretty tired so we called it a night. We slept in a very comfortable bed in a nice guest room. Soon we had all passed out after a long day
